Congratulations to all the UML Hockey Award and Honors winners (listed on the home page). It is tough to say goodbye to the seniors that will be leaving UML now, including Ed McGrane, who finished 16th in career scoring at UML with 138 points (70 goals, 68 assists). McGrane, Stephen Slonina, Josh Reed, Darryl Green, Mark Concannon, Geoff Schomogyi, Peter Hay and Baptiste Amar ... thank you for everything you did for our University. I'd also like to add Anders Strome to the list, as he is leaving the hockey program one year early. You guys were great, and all Lowell fans wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. If any of you read this site, I hope that you keep in touch and let us know how things are going. We will be adding an alumni page to this site for next year. As for the team next year ... not only will all the current freshmen have gained a year's worth of experience (not to mention the goaltenders), but the recruiting class that's coming in looks strong, adding some depth at the blue line, and hopefully more forward scoring prowess. Lowell is also adding two transfers next year. For more info click here for UML's 2003/2004 recruits. For more of a statistical breakdown, please page down a bit.

As I've promised for a while ... finally with less than a week to go, here is the UMass Lowell Season Preview. If you have any comments, please let me know.

HOCKEY EAST NOTES With another interesting year coming up, so far the favorites have to be the normal grouping of BC, Maine, UNH and BU. But already there have been some upsets, with Merrimack stunning BU, Providence still undefeated. Interesting year coming up. Stay tuned!
