Sophomore goaltender Cam McCormick was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week for his performance in a 4-1 win over the Northeastern Huskies on October 24. McCormick saved 20 of the 21 shots he faced, helping Lowell win its home opener. |

Freshman forward Ed McGrane was listed on the Hockey East Honor Roll for his 1-2-3 line in a 6-2 Lowell win over Union on October 29. |

The City of Lights All-Tournament Team was dominated by Lowell players. The Tournament (played November 26 and 27) was won by Lowell, which defeated UConn 13-2 in the first game and Air Force 3-1 in the final. The Tournament MVP was junior forward Yorick Treille, with four goals on the weekend. Also on the All-Tournament Team were senior defenseman Kevin Bertram (1-2-3), senior forward Chris Bell (2-4-6) and sophomore defenseman Chris Gustaffson. All four players were also listed on the Hockey East Honor Roll. |

On December 1, freshman defenseman Ron Hainsey became only the second Lowell player ever to be named to the US National Junior Team. Hainsey is one of nine Hockey East players that will be representing the US in Sweden, and will miss one UMass Lowell game (against Brown). |
