| Week Ending October 9, 2005 CCM Hockey Player of the Week: Senior Mark Pandolfo was named to the first winner of the 05/06 Player of the Week award for his 3 goal weekend. Lowell lost at Colgate 6-2 but returned home to win 5-3 over RPI. Pandolfo scored once at Colgate, but notched two at home, including the game winner. Week Ending October 31, 2005 Hockey East Honor Roll: Pandolfo's first career hat-trick in a 7-4 win over BU qualified him for the Honor Roll. Week Ending November 21, 2005 Hockey East Honor Roll: After an unlucky bounce in the final seconds caused a stunning 3-2 loss at UNH, the River Hawks bounced back to smash the Wildcats at home 6-3. Juniors Jeremy Hall (four assists in the win), Bobby Robins (2 of his three goals on the weekend came in the win, along with an assist) and Jason Tejchma (1 goal in the win, 2-1-3 on the weekend) all were on the Honor Roll, along with sophomore goalie Peter Vetri who stopped 69 of 75 shots on the weekend. Week Ending December 12, 2005 Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week: Vetri stopped an amazing 90 of 96 shots on the weekend, including 53 in a 4-1 loss at UNH, and 37 in a 3-2 home win over Dartmouth. Hockey East Honor Roll: Robins scored two power play goals in the home win over Dartmouth. Week Ending January 1, 2006 Hockey East Honor Roll: UML won the first game of the Dodge Holiday Classic in Minneapolis, MN defeating Canisius 5-4, and then lost a heartbreaker with the same scorer to host (and 4th ranked) Minnesota. Senior Elias Godoy (4 points, including 3 assists in the Minnesota loss), Danny O'Brien (2-1-3 on the weekend), Pandolfo (1 goal and 2 assists against Minnesota), and Robins (2 goals in the Minnesota loss) along with Vetri (44 saves in the loss) all were on the HE Honor Roll. Robins was also the only non-Minnesota player named to the All-Tournament team. Week Ending January 15, 2006 CCM Hockey Player of the Week: O'Brien's 4-2-6 weekend helped UMass Lowell win back-to-back Hockey East games for the first time this year, as the River Hawks defeated UMass at home 6-2, before coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win at PC 4-3 in OT. O'Brien's first career hat-trick included the game winner in the PC game. Hockey East Honor Roll: Tejchma (2-1-3 in the UMass win) and Vetri (66 saves on the weekend, including 38 in the PC win) also were honored by the league. Week Ending January 22, 2006 Hockey East Honor Roll: Vetri once again finds his name on the list, making 63 saves on 66 shots faced in a 2-1 win at NU and a 2-2 tie at home against the Huskies. Week Ending January 29, 2006 Hockey East Honor Roll: A tough 4-3 OT loss at home still helped garner Robins (2 goals) recognition on the honor roll. . Week Ending February 19, 2006 Hockey East Honor Roll: Hall helped Lowell gain three points against Merrimack, tying 2-2 on the road before easily winning 5-2 at home. Hall had a goal in each game, and added an assist in the home win. Week Ending February 26, 2006 Superskills Hockey Rookie of the Week: A 36 save effort in his first career start by Vinnie Monaco helped Lowell upset BC at home 6-3. Hockey East Honor Roll: Hall's two goals in the second period helped propel to the upset. Week Ending March 5, 2006 Hockey East Honor Roll: Godoy's four assists and O'Brien's 2 goals and an assist helped UML sweep UVM in the last series of the year, both games at home.
